We are going for 5 nights in November. There are 5 of us - me, hubby, dd12, ds11, & ds7, plus we are bringing both grandmothers. What would you all recommend for accomodations? We need something that's easy to get to and from since we think that the grandmas won't last as long as the rest of us in the parks and they will probably have to take Disney transportation.

I've read that some of the Disney 2 bedroom villas accomodate up to 8 - how is that possible in with only 2 bedrooms? I'm also thinking perhaps that we could get two rooms at the Dolphin? :flower:

The DVC 2 bedroom Villas have a king bed in the Master bedroom, either 2 queens or a queen and a queen size pullout couch in the 2nd bedroom and a queen size pullout couch in the livingroom. they also have a full kitchen and a washer/dryer in the villa. It's awesome.

One caveat: Early November is time for the Food & Wine fest, late November is getting close to Thanksgiving. All the resorts around the Epcot area (Swan/Dolphin, Boardwalk villas, Beach Club Villas) sell out early. Make inquiries now if you are interested in any of those!

Two rooms easily, such a variety of people!!

Dont forget to check out deb's site - www.allearsnet.com check on accomadations, she has pictures of all the resorts, including DVC villas... the Dis has a place where you can rent points to get a place (or 2 rooms)...

Good Luck , just focus on all the fun you'll have at Disney!! I know lots have great experience staying in suites outside of Disney, but think with Novemeber there are earlier closing times, so you may want to take advantage of the emh times for resort guests!! Two Rooms at AKL, with one room having a bunk bed may be a good choice... :confused3

Good luck, have fun planning!!

Do you think the grandmas will share a room?

I would go with 2 rooms, having one of the kids sleep in grandma's room. As far as being closer to the action...are you wanting an Epcot resort or a MK resort.

I think the Contemporary or WL would be perfect. I actually would recommend the WL.

Have a great trip.

Thanks everyone! Hmmm...I'm pretty sure that the grandmas would share a room, and I could have my daughter stay in their room. I guess it all comes down to how much we want to spend and where we want to be. I don't care if we stay at a MK resort or at an Epcot resort, but hubby seems to think it would be better to stay at Epcot this time - maybe he wants to walk around and sample the wines at the Food & Wine Festival and then stumble back the hotel? :drinking1

I'm off to look at the link with the pics of the rooms.
