Reconfirming Hoop Dee Doo

On the Disney World website, it said that reservations (PS) for Hoop Dee Doo Revue had to be done 24 to 48 hours before the show. Is that correct? The CM that I made the PS through didn't mention it and I wouldn't have known if I had not seen the note.

TIA
Kathy

I'm confused when you say "reconfirming" in your title.

They have a ticket office there -- I'd surprised if you couldn't buy tickets there right before the show -- but you don't need to reconfirm.

Don't go by me about the buying tickets part.

If you're staying at a WDW resort you can pick up your tickets at the hotel.

This is directly from the WDW website page on HPPR

"Guests must reconfirm the reservation 24 to 48 hours prior to dining time."

Thanks
Kathy

Really!!!??? Well, you learn something new every day! Seeing as I've never done that (reconfirmed), I don't know! Maybe it's something new, or maybe because I always pick the tickets up at the resort the day before the show that's considered reconfirming!

Like you said, they never told me that when I've ordered the tickets. I hope someone can shed some light on this!

That is the main reason I'm concerned is that we are going to HDDR on our arrival date.

We went to HDDR on our arrival date this past Janaury, and didn't do any sort of reconfirming. We just picked up our tickets at check-in and had no problems at all. Unless they've changed things since then, you should be fine.

You got me curious and I dug up a toll free # and called!

CRO just told me that a reconfirmation is not necessary, but that you can't cancel after 48 hours before the show. She says you need to pick up the tickets from a guest services at any of the resorts, and that Fort Wilderness has a guest services, but you can't pick them up at Pioneer Hall. She said you can pick them up any time 7 days before the show, even on the same day.

Hope this helps -- hope it's correct!

Thanks so much for calling!!!

I had never seen anything on the boards about "reconfirming" and since they have my credit card number, I didn't figure they needed any other guarentee.

I made my HDD ressies way in advance last time and had no notion of the reconfirming thing until I called about a few weeks prior to kind of reconfirm on my own-- and the CM I spoke with also said I SHOULD call to reconfirm between 24-48 hrs. That must be general policy but perhaps in slower times —January perhaps? That is when I went and it wasn't a full house — it is not so necessary. Just my guess?

If it's past time for somebody to do the reconfirming thing I probably wouldn't sweat it too much, but if you've still got the window I'd jump through that hoop just in case.

There is a guest services window at Fort Wilderness just around the corner from the entrance to Pioneer Hall, near the restrooms. That's where i have picked up my tickets when we have camped there.
