Recommended Building for a Two Bed Room at Old Key West 2BR OKW

We are staying in a two bed room (2 BR) at Old Key West (OKW) for 4 nights Thanksgiving week Tu- Sat. The the Hospitality House booking catagory was not available. I believe we want to be central to the main bus top, store, and boat dock. We are staying with adult children who probably will come and go on their own schedule. Therefore, having the main facilities and bus stop readily available is important. Any recomendation on the best way to request this type of room? Also, any recommendations on which building or area to request?

We prefer the Turtle pond area after many trips. Large trees, nice quiet pool with turtle shack for drinks. To us it just takes us away from all the hubub that is down by the HH. All it takes to get to the HH is a ten minute walk or just hopping on the first bus that comes by and getting off at the HH.

My family of 8 just returned from 5 nights at OKW last month. We had a 2-bedroom and a studio, and HH category was not available. Requested ground floor on Peninsular Road and got building 28. I loved the location and would definitely request it again. Very short walk to HH and main pool. My teenagers could walk back and forth alone with no worries. It’s the first bus stop so we always got a seat on the bus in the morning and first to get off at night. Also when I had groceries delivered from the local grocery store the driver was able to find us easily.
Similar buildings are 27, 28, and 29. I used the room request tool on TouringPlans website. Have a great trip!
