Been looking around at the exchange rates, and i think they are not as good compared to Dec.

I finding the high street stores to be the worst, American Express online is slightly better.

Can anyone recommend another way to get TC and cash.

We have already used the TC Card, and was not to keen on the fact you are not sure how much is left. I have an obbession when on holiday i have to count how much money and cheques we have left, i now i'm mad  :lmao:

It does DH head in, especially when he gets out of the shower and thinks i'm getting ready and i'm not i'm standing counting money.

Don't do this at home, i think it is the case we are so far away from home, and hate/scared of the fact having no money. My DM, was on holiday once and on their last day my sister became ill, and they had to stay in greece for an extra week, and they had used all the money up.

The rate at the mo is approx 1.67

Sorry, can't help with the question. I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. I do just the same and yeah it also drives my hubby mad!!!! :lmao: :lmao:

M&S are offering $1.69 today..as soon as it goes up a little bit more we shall be getting some.

Official rate (and the one you get with Nationwide) is $1.75.

We never take cash - we just use Maestro when we're over there.
