Recommendations on Celebratory Dinner (and how to hack Beaches and Cream)

I got Beaches and Cream in June after using the Reservation Finder. We were really surprised when we got there and the place was basically deserted for most of our meal (we had a 5:00 ADR). It had been a very rainy week (more than the typical afternoon storms, they started in the afternoon and lasted all night) and our CM said they had a ton a cancellations and no shows which they attributed to people not wanted to trek over from Epcot in a torrential downpour. So if by chance you can't get a reservation and you have a really rainy day you should check ADRs for last minute cancellations.

Thank you! I just signed up for the reservation finder. Fingers crossed it works out for us!

My post race celebratory meal is usually Boma so I suggest there. It is also a great resort to spend some time at on a non-park day. You can check out all of the savannas, make sure to go over to Kidani village to see theirs. As a PP mentioned you can't go wrong at any of their three table service restaurants.

Thank you! I think we may do Boma for breakfast buffet one of those days. It looks fantastic! I'm hoping we can wander around the resort while we are there.

We were able to get a reservation! For Friday afternoon of that weekend. I couldn't believe it! Thank you for this suggestion. I am totally using this for every trip - I wish I had known about it sooner!

Since you're already at Coronado, PLEASE consider Maya Grill. I LOVED this restaurant! Great drinks. Great food. Very good, friendly service. Don't miss it, since you have the chance.

I see you got a B&C ADR, I was going to suggest The Fountain at the Swan or Dolphin (can never remember which) as an alternative.
