Could you share your experiences zip lining in Alaska? My 72 year old father would like to try. Was it difficult? He walks 1.5 miles a day. (Or will again, he just had surgery 3 weeks ago) So he'll be strong enough by July again.

We did ziplining in Skagway through Alaska excursions. It was myself and my 9 year old. We loved it and if he's able to walk uphill a little bit, I think he could do it. It wasn't super taxing and they do the braking for you. There were a few elevated bridges that were a little tricky for balance but not too bad. The drive there is gorgeous too!

We ziplined last year in Juneau and it was great. There wasn't much climbing to do at all. I say go for it. The excursion we had took us to Mendenhall glacier also.

We went zip-lining in Skagway (Grizzly Bear Falls). It was amazing. If your dad is adventurous, he will love it. My dad is 75 and he still goes on roller coasters, so this was way cool for him. There is some walking, but nothing too strenuous. You zip-line over water falls and it is gorgeous. You never felt like you were free-falling, my 11 year olds even went upside down.

A lot of fun, I would definitely recommend it.
