Recommendations for SSR...which section?

We are staying at SSR in June using our DP. We have not stayed there before, so we are clueless as to which section (or sections) we should request.

We will not have a car, will be there a week, and have a 4yo and 6yo who love to swim. We probably will also use the DTD buses to get to our ADRs at other resorts...so we probably want to be fairly close to DTD?

no - DTD buses are always the fastest way. take a MK bus then transfer to the monrail or boat. take a studio bus and transfer to the boat (for epcot resorts)

if your kids like to swim - would go with Grandstand or Springs -the 2 closest sections to the main pool.

Congress Park is further away - but still pretty close. It is the closest to DTD (DD).

Vote for Grandstand and it's also the first bus stop (you get a seat).........but more importantly, first bus stop when you get back.......and are tired!

If the DTD buses aren't faster than the park transportation for getting to resorts then we will probably use a taxi (which we have done frequently during past trips) to get to another resort for our ADRs- I just hate spending 45+ minutes in transit for an ADR.

My vote is Grandstand also. You are at the first bus pickup/drop-off point and they have their own smaller pool (with bar ) and water play area.

We actually booked Congress Park our last SSR stay and had to move due to some maintenance issues when we arrived. They put us in the Grandstand area and we couldn't have been more pleased. Its only a 5 minute walk to the main building/pool area so you aren't very far from anything.

Another vote for the Grandstand, but request either next to the bus stop or by the pool. These two buildings are perfectly located in our opinion by being the closest of the Grandstand buildings to the main area.
