First of all, a huge thanks to my Mom and Dad for letting us have their timeshare week next year!!!

But now the hard part - which place to pick?!?!!?

We stayed at Vistana in 2002 and Orange Lake in 2003. Both of those resorts are limited in how often you can trade for them, so neither one is eligible this time.

I'm looking at Sabal Palms.....in Orlando World Center.

Any suggestions?!?!?

that is a Marriott - I would go for it! they can't tell you its a Marriott because Marriott cancelled their RCI contracts and only uses II these days.

but if the code is 1276 - it is a marriott

Hilton Grand Vacation Club is also very nice - RCI codes - 3517 and 6309. HGVC

Summer Bay resort has received nice reviews (it is close to OL) 3175

some others like Silver Lake 2610 or 6815

Cypress Point 2750

good luck hope you get Sabal Palms

Thank god for giving parents!!! My parents also let us use their timeshare weeks.
I recommend Hilton Grand Vacation Club. We stayed there last Jan. in a 3 bedroom, and we loved it. I did like the Vistana better (we stayed in the Cascades), but the Hilton was very nice also.
BTW, how did you like Orange Lake? We are booked there for this Jan.
Good luck!

We just got back from staying at Embassy Resorts at Grand Beach. We thought it was a wonderful resort and very close to Disney! We were there during Hurricane Frances and the staff at the resort was fabulous with how they helped us prepare, etc. for it, keeping us posted on a daily basis about what was going on.

We would definitely stay there again. The units are huge, too!

Orange Lake is nice. It has more amenities than you could possibly use in one week. The condo we stayed in was huge~
we had 4 adults and 2 kids and a bed to spare. It's kind of cool
living right "on the greens" of their golf course.
We watched them play from the living room.

Summer Bay is a little more relaxing, right up the street from Orange Lake. We got to stay in a single home there.
It's VERY nice having a private pool...
:sunny:
