We'll be in worldshowcase 2 hours before Illuminations. Looking for a quick bite - not sitdown, just a stand or something. Any suggestions?

Mexico and the America pavilion both have good counter service food and a real plus is the fact that both have outdoor seating. You could order a meal and snag a table in order to watch Illuminations.

Yeah we're going to be there well in advance of the fireworks and looking to just sit down, have a bite, and definately have a few cocktails.

Is the American restaurant the Liberty Inn?

Also, a good spot to watch the fireworks would be good - are there a lot of options in that area for grabbing a good seat?

There are good seats for Illuminations all around the WS lagoon. Just find an open stretch of fence that doesn't have a tree right over it and you will be fine. I wouldn't try to watch from the American pavilion outdoor dining, as that area is not right on the water and you will miss some parts of the show as a result.

My favorite CS at WS is Tangierine Cafe at the Morroco pavilion.

I love the bakery in France; they have ham and cheese sandwiches and yummy pastries. Easy to eat, filling and affordable!

That actually sounds very good too. That's good to know b/c my dd3 likes sandwiches more than anything - might be a good option for her.

There is seating near the fish and chips stand in UK, as well.

We usually eat whatever we want and just plant ourselves along the fence line, bench or not.

My fave eats in WS are Tangerine Cafe in Morocco and the bakery in France.

Even if we do a table service that night, we hit the bakery for yummy desserts to eat while waiting. Be aware - the line there gets long the closer it gets to IllumiNations. Last time we stood for 30 minutes waiting and almost missed the show.

My vote goes to the French bakery also. It has all sorts of yummy things to eat. My favorites are the apple tarts and the quiche.
