What's worth seeing at Epcot Future World? My husband and I are taking my 16 year old daughter.
I would like any recommendations for rides, shows, or anything really.

:cutie: princess: :earsboy:

For a sixteen year old daughter, I would have her go out and check the attractios and give you her ideas. For my husband and myself (in our early 50s), we like everything in Future World. But note that Epcot has a tiering structure for FastPasses so check that out if you are only doing one day. I would say Ellen's Energy Adventure, The Living Seas, The Imagination Pavilion, and Spaceship Earth (at the end of your day) can all be done standby. Soarin', Mission:Space and Test Track should be FastPassed with Soarin' being the first choice due to popularity.

If you've never been, I'd say you need to try and experience as much as possible.
I agree with PP who suggested giving your daughter some say in the planning.
If I was going to skip any attractions, it would be Ellen's Energy Adventure--a time consuming attraction--and the Imagination pavilion.
If you're looking for a restaurant, we really enjoyed the Coral Reef. It also gives you a view of the Living Seas aquarium--in case you decided against seeing that attraction.

I heard Ellen's Energy Adventure is 45mins. I am interested but is it worth it for 45mins? Just curious.

It is indeed that long, and it is not worth it in my opinion (and I like Ellen and dinosaurs as much as the next person).

And if you have the time, try to catch a performance by the Jammitors. They're a percussion group, and we always try to see them once per trip.

At that age I like visiting the countries and interacting with the CM, I was able to learn a few words, how they would spell my name. We also sampled the food from a few locations love the shaved ice in Japan and the salted caramels in Germany. I also enjoyed the Pick a Peal in Japan, we did not get it set there but you can find setting off ebay for a fraction of the cost.

We enjoy everything on the right side when you enter - Seas, Land, Imagination. Across the way, Test Track is basically it. Spaceship Earth in the middle is fantastic, we do that multiple times.

The best advice I can give is to do Future World in the evening. Most folks go to Future World first thing in the morning and everything is very busy and lines are long. If you get there around 4 or 5, you can usually walk on everything other than Soarin' or Test Track. But if you plan ahead with a FP+, you can ride one of them.

Even better, when Epcot has evening EMH, you can ride until 11 on most things. The colors, the music, and the atmosphere of Future World is at its best at night in the dark. Plus you can hang out in Mouse Gear and shop, watch the Fountain Show, go through Innoventions (fun even for adults), and grab a Starbucks coffee too.
