Recommendations for Dining Reservation for 8 in Epcot?

Hi,

I am going to Epcot for 1 day in early October. We will have a party of 8--all couples in their early 30's. Originally, I was thinking we'd just drink and dine on Food & Wine Festival offerings all day, but now I'm toying with the idea of a dining reservation, either for lunch or dinner.

1. Because we are a large party, it might be nice to have a sit down meal together
2. Because we are Alaskans and Florida humidity is not what we're used to, so a place to get out of the heat and rest our feet sounds nice

I know the 60 days out is quickly approaching, and I'm a WDW newbie so I don't really know about Epcot/dining options. I've been going to Disneyland for years, but have only been to WDW when I was a kid.

Any recommendations for restaurants in Epcot? Space 220 is out, as cool as it looks, because I don't want to stress about getting a reservation for 8 to that popular of a place. The only food restrictions we have in the group is I am pescetarian so I just eat fish no other meat. But I never have issues finding something on any menu. We like all sorts of cuisine.

Well, the first restaurant that comes to mind is Biergarten, because they already have tables big enough to seat 8. To make ADRs at many of the other restaurants you might need to book two ADRs for 4+4 near the same time and then ask to be seated close together (very often will be seated at same table). And Biergarten is fun - they have an oom-pah band playing regularly. However, I don't know what Biergarten would offer a pescatarian - their standard menu is meat heavy.

All of the other restaurants can accommodate a party of 8, and every restaurant will have its admirers and its detractors. Since the reopening in 2020 we have enjoyed La Hacienda de San Angel (Mexican restaurant on the lake) and Chefs de France as well as Biergarten, and Spice Road Table (which is walk-up only, no ADRs) is a favorite of ours too.

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get a lot more recommendations soon!

We always enjoy Teppan Edo. It would be great for a party of 8 as you could all sit at one table/grill without having strangers seated with you. If you have been to Benihana, it is the same sort of meal. Would have seafood for you and meat/chicken and other stuff for the others.

Via Napoli in Italy is a nice place for a larger group. Can’t beat the pizzas, or entrees. We eat here every time we visit Epcot. We have also eaten at Teppan Edo. It was okay. Some complained about not enough food. Sometimes, other diners are seated at the same table. The Coral Reef restaurant has a great view of the aquarium, but the food and service can be sketchy. Sunshine Seasons quick service restaurant has a large variety of food. Usually everyone can find something they like. Enjoy your fun time at Epcot.

Biergarten absolutely great for a group that size
Teppan Edo as well
San Angel Inn
Restaurant Marrakesh is fun too (if they ever reopen)
Rose and Crown
Via Napoli

This isn’t an ADR but Connections Eatery was a great air conditioned break for us in July. It’s a handy spot to take a break after riding Guardians too. I enjoyed the food (admittedly am not a pescatarian), it was clean and had lots of space. Might be a nice spot to pop in for a break, if you’re in that neighbourhood.
