Recommendations for ADRs please

We're making our first trip to Disney as a family this September - me, DH, DD+DS twins that are turning 5 during our stay. We are staying at SSR for a five day stay and will be attending MNSSHP.
I would greatly appreciate recommendations for inexpensive or moderately priced dining for us! I was thinking of OHANA character breakfast and we are planning on trips to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood studios. Thanks very much for any input!

My must dine at the Magic Kingdom is at the Crystal Palace. Have always had great food there both at breakfast & dinner.

My must dine at the Studios is the 50's Primetime Cafe. Great food & service.

It really depends on your family's likes/dislikes. Based on what you wrote I would think that Crystal Palace Character buffet (MK) might be a good choice.

Hollywood Studios are not really known for their food for the most part. Mama Melrose gets mixed reviews but in my experience it is decent Italian food. However, it isn't as "Disney" as some other places. Sci-Fi Dine in isn't known for its food but many people enjoy the atmosphere. I would think you could enjoy the atmosphere without paying too much money by either sharing meals or ordering appetizer/dessert only.

I'm fairly new here too, and just wanted to tell you that my FH and I will also be at SSR from the 25th of september through 3rd of october.

I would recommend Crysttal Plaace in the Contemporary resort.
