We've done two previous Eastern's, but now that the kids are teens, we're looking for something more active to do. Previously, we did the Under Two Flags tour in St. Martin, and we did the Water Island Bike Ride and St. John Eco Hike in St. Thomas. Most people seem to do beach excursions, but we're looking for something a little more active. Any suggestions? We're going in November. Thanks.

We have booked a half day sail and snorkel with a private company in St. Thomas- Independence with Capt. Pat. But, there are a group that all sail together.
It was very nice. The first mate was our snorkel guide. He showed us all kinds of sea life.

We took the Trunk Bay excursion (St John)...Loved it! I wish though that Disney left a little earlier in the day because it takes a while to get there and we only had maybe 2 hours to snorkel??? However, it was GORGEOUS and so neat. Saw lots of cool fish and you can also see sea turtles.

Thanks. I'm still looking for more ideas. Has anyone done the kayak and snorkel in St. Thomas?

If your kids are teens, you could go to St. John on your own (take a cab to Red Hook Ferry) and then take a cab to many great snorkeling spots. At Cinnamon Bay, there is a small island off the beach within swimming distance, and you can snorkel/swim all the way around it...some of the best snorkeling we did all week! After several hours in the water, we went to Woody's for a burger. :thumbsup2 Great day!
