Recommendations for a restaurant in Manhattan

Anyone have a recommendation on a moderately priced restaurant in Manhattan?

We are going next weekend. In the past, we have always ended up in Little Italy for dinner but would like to try something different.

Also, any attractiions to recommend. We are going on the Greenwich Villlage Food Tour but are looking for something to fill up the rest of the afternoon/evening.

I just had to read this thread. I live 18 miles from Manhattan, KANSAS. Not what you're looking for.

When we want to get out of Little Italy one of my favorite restaurants to take people to in Manhattan is Foley's Fish House (They serve a little more than sea food). It is located in the Marriott Renaissance Hotel in Times Square and sits in a triangular corner overlooking Times Square. The view is amazing and the food is quite good!

As for attractions, since you're going to be downtown you have many options; shopping and Art Galleries in SoHo, Ground Zero, South Street Seaport, explore China Town.

Tony Dinapoli's is our fave! It is an Italian family style restaurant. Thier Sangria is to die for! and thier portions are huge. We always end up getting salads and 2 main dishes and it is enough for the 4 of us.

Hi all,
Depends where in manhattan, your looking. I enjoy the time square area , while there are dozens of places to eat in the time square area alone. My favorite's are bubba gump shrimp and apple beas. If your looking for really good italian food, Pm me i can give you a couple of really great places in brooklyn,nyc that have awesome italian food.
