Recommendations between POP, CBR, POFQ/POR, and ASM resorts

Trying to figure out options for changing resorts from AOA if/when they do the free dining. Based only on transportation to the parks, any recommendations between Pop Century, All star movies, Caribbean Beach, or Port Orleans (either). Is there a difference in # buses that come and times between value and moderate resorts? Any other major +'s for one vs the others?

We have not stayed at Pop, but have stayed at CBR, POR and ASMo. Of those, our favorite by far is CBR. We just love the relaxed feel and atmosphere. It's like having 2 vacations in one. Even when it is at capacity it never feels like it.

What some people feel is a negative, it's size, is actually one of the best aspects to us. It is a nice change from the craziness of the parks. Even if you're in one of the Pirate Themed rooms which are the farthest from OPR and the main pool, it's just under a 10 minute walk.

The main pool is great for kids and the 2 hot tubs are great for relaxing after a day at the parks. The landscaping and tropical theme is so beautiful and peaceful. Each village has it's own beach and quiet pool also.

Watching the higher fireworks from Illuminations from a hammock on the beach with a drink is a great way to end a day also!

Each village has it's own bus stop so you are never far from one. During both of our 7 night stays, the only time we ever had to stand was during our first stay when we left MK right after Wishes. We have since learned to hang out and people watch for 20-30 minutes, then no more standing.

Now there is nothing wrong with any of the other choices you mentioned, we just really love CBR.
