Hello everyone,

I'm looking into staying onsite via a DVC Rental Service (like David's Vacation Club, The Timeshare Store, etc.) I've looked into David's and just inquired to The Timeshare Store, but in the interest of having the most available options open, I was wondering if anyone would vouch for BookDVC, dvc-rental, or dvcreservations? Or, if there's a DVC rental service that you have used and enjoyed that I haven't named I would love to hear about more legitimate possibilities. Thanks!

Basically, the services that pay owners the most have the most points available to them. They're just a 'dating service.' Agencies don't have their own points. The agencies that pay owners most will also charge renters more.

Agencies offering cheaper rates to end users are also paying owners less. Why would I rent premium points for less?

I have done Davids and DVC-rental.com and I will forever do DVC-rental.com from here on out!

Before considering David’s, take a look at the long thread on this page. Some see issues with his new owner contract.

I have rented my extra points myself using the Rent/Trade board. A little more effort, but you keep a higher profit. For the first time this past January, I used David's. Points rented rather quickly and per contract 70% of payment received. Then came the pandemic. With WDW closure, renter's accommodations were not available and DVC returned points to my account. Renter was given a travel voucher for future use. David's has since rented my points a second time for late September. Bottom line, I would consider using a rental company again.

I inquired at David's and This Company for my January rental. The second company responded to my inquiry first, and for reasons of convenience and their faster response I rented from them. My experience was very satisfactory

Unfortunately our January rental has led to us making our first offer on DVC this week!

I know this is a zombie thread that's been resurrected, but I'm honestly surprised anyone would recommend the specific DVC rental company that offers the PPP. We had a horrible experience with them. I won't go into a ton of details, but I will say that they are guilty of the same conduct as David's when the coronavirus shut things down. Maybe even worse. They also disabled reviews on their Facebook page and promptly delete any comment left on their page that could place them in a bad light, and then they block those people from leaving future comments. Total lack of transparency.

I had a great experience with this company. I did not have the insurance and they worked with me with the first closure and also when I had a June 26 check in (DVC open) but I was from NY and have to quarantine. I think they did a great job helping me.

thank you for replying to a year old question, I had learned interesting information.
