Recommendation needed

I would LOVE the Sony, but I have been under the impression that it was more expensive. Thanks so much for taking the time to post here, I am going to check it out as well. I have a Sony DSC-H2 now and LOVE it.

I'm glad I could provide some helpful info. If you have any interest in live view you could also look at the Sony A300 which is $599 w/kit lens. Both it and the A200 are 10.2 megapixels and the live view is the main feature difference.

I happened into the Sony DSLR cameras thru help on this board and have been very happy that I did!

I just bought my 1st SLR. Canon Rebel Xsi. LOVE IT! It's awesome & so easy to use. I did get it with the kit lens. Now I'm just looking at buying another lens.
