Trying to decide where to have lunch the afternoon before MVMCP. The plan is to have lunch and check out some resort decorations. Right now I have reservations at WCC at 2:20. We have been to WCC once but it was late in the evening and there wasn't much going on, I remember the food being ok. So now I'm considering Kona or Grand Floridian Cafe, or even late breakfast at Kona. Decisions, decisions...

GF is very good for lunch. Haven't been to Kona for lunch but it's very good for dinner. Either one of those 2 would be good. The pasta at GF is very good.

We are trying to decide the same thing. We has reservations for WCC, also, but I cancelled them because I'm not quite sure where we will be. I'm also considering going to DTD and checking out Wolfgang Puck Express. Fortunately, I think it will be okay to be flexible because we can pretty much walk-up anywhere at that time. I'm anxious to hear what others suggest, though!

We are planning to go to MVMCP at MK around 4PM. So I figured we could head over early and check out Christmas decorations around the monorail loop and/or WL. I heard they are really nice at WL so I figured we could just eat lunch there at WCC. But the more I look at the menu the more I think we may like one of the other monorail restaurants better. Than I was thinking we could do breakfast at Kona, check out the monorail resorts and WL and then head over, but we will be dragging three kids ages 3,8, and 9 along with 2 grandparents so I want to make sure I don't wear everyone out before we even get to MVMCP. I promised Grandma a relaxing trip.

I've eaten at WCC and at the Grand Floridian Cafe in the past. We had the skillet at WCC,which everyone in the group like (three adults), but at GFC it was a mixed bag. I had the rustic chicken sandwich which was not very impressive. However, the dessert sampler was very good. Also at GFC, the service seemed slow and uneven (some tables whose order were taken later received their food first). Based on the food and service, I would go to WCC.

However, if you are already doing the monorail hotel tour, then at least GF or Poly is on the route, whereas WL is not.
