I dread sitting down to eat in MK. The only meal that we have had that was decent was at Crystal Palace. I dont think the kids will really be into those characters anymore but i think we may go there as a last resort. Any other places that maybe Im not thinking of? We're not on a ddp, so will be out of pocket. Looking for dinner, not lunch and doesnt need to be anything incredible just decent and reasonably priced considering its in MK. lol. With Epcot I have more places written down than I have days to eat at them. But I cant come up with one for MK... kind of a bummer.

There are five TS restaurants in MK - CRT, Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern, the Plaza restaurant, and Tony's. That's it.

We really enjoy the dinner at CP ... but we also travel with 3 little ones.

We really like the lunch menu at Liberty Tree Tavern - it is menu style (not family style or buffet) and many items seem more "dinnerlike" ... such as the pot roast. Would a late lunch (say 3PM) work for you? If so, I would recommend LTT.

i would pop on the monorail and go to Kona or maybe 'ohana at the Poly

In all of our trips we have never been to Tony's. We were in the MK for a quick weekend trip in October and decided to give it a try. It was by far one of the best meals that I have ever had while at WDW. We did not have an ADR, but went early....I think we were there between 5:00 - 5:30. We waited just a few minutes until they had a table ready for us. So my suggestion is Tony's!

Get an ADR at one of the monorail Resort restaurants. Cali Grill, Ohana, Kona Cafe etc.... If you really want a GOOD dinner. I don't think there is one really good dinner destination at MK.

The Crystal Palace is one place I like going to now and then in spite of the characters. They seem to be pretty good at sensing your attitude - if you're just not that into them, they'll come by your table, wave, say hi (in their own way), then quickly move to the next.

I was going to say Crystal Palace. The food there is delicious, and the characters are adorable!

But I also love Tony's. It's right on Main Street USA and it has good italian food. It's a great family dinner.

And Liberty Tree Tavern is very good. It's served family style so all of the food is brought right to your table. And I think it's a thanksgiving style dinner? Very delicious :)

Glad to see that you made a decision to go to the Cali Grill. I would go to any of the resort TS restaurants (except Chef Mickey's) before I had dinner in the MK.
