Recommend a PS4 game?

DD12 needs a new PS4 game under the tree. She likes games where she can wander around and explore (Minecraft, Disney Infinity, Lego Harry Potter) so looking for something similar to that. Or something like an escape room sort of thing where the wandering around is for a purpose? She either plays alone or with the 7 year old.

A bunch of the other Lego games would fit, and most have co-op. Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, is the most recent. Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 is pretty good, as is Lego Incredibles.

Disney Dreamlight Valley just came out, which is sort of a Animal Crossing like game. Only thing to be aware of with that one, is it was made by a company mostly known for mobile gaming, so it has micro-transactions. You can enjoy the game without it, but personally, I'm usually turned off by micro-transaction leaning games. It is also only single player.

There is also No Man's Sky, but it might be a little too complicated for those ages (and like Dreamlight Valley, also only single player, no co-op).

My fav games for PS4 are: Skyrim, Witcher 3, and Spider-man

Given the age, I'd go with PS4 Spider-man.
