Ok, So i posted a time or 2 here before we went in 2006.

I have posted a couple in the last couple of days.

I have see threads about when people are going and see how the all overlap.

How do you know if someone at the park at any given time is from the DISboards?

The universal symbol for the DISboards is a lime green mickey head (LGMH) from Home Depot. It's kinda hard to see but this is me wearing one on my lanyard on my last trip:

They are easy to pick up at any Home Depot. Just go to the paint sample section and they are right there.

Grab some extras and then get some of those ID badge laminating things from Staples or your favorite office supply store. You can laminate them using your household iron set to medium - too hot and they wrinkle funny. I like the badge laminates, since they have a pre-punched hole for clips or ribbon or whatever. That keeps them dry if it rains or if you go on Splash Mountain.

And remember that even though on this board you would think that you would see a LGMH everywhere you go, you may not see anyone that you think is a Dis'r.

When we were there in December there were lots of other Dis'rs there at the same time according to the list but I never saw one single LGMH, except my own!

Have a great trip!

I don't have my paint chip out every time but I've got a small keychain I bought AT DL that is Lime Green, I have that on my lanyard. :) And yes, I do look for LGMH's but I rarely see them.

It is also a good idea to post a month specific thread and let people post pictures of themselves.....or if you are adventurous you can plan a very quick mini meet (like meet just long enough to have a dole whip together) which is no pressure but fun.
Some other good mini meet ideas is to set a time to enter IJ as a group....chat during the wait, ride together, then split up afterwards.

Or, to meet an hour before the parade at a certain spot.....

Or, to even have a meal. Of course this is most fun when at least 2-3 other parties will be there at the same time.Usually when you gather that many, some of the locals will come too.
