Recital Pages

My little girl has her first dance recital tonight. Does anyone havea recital page that they would like to share? Or, if you have any dance related pages I would like to look. I need ideas so I know what pictures to take tonight. I find that trying to video, take pictures and handle a two year old boy while sister dances is going to be a chore. If I have some idea of what pictures I should capture, it may not be as bad as what I am thinking. Yeah right! Maybe if I keep telling myself this, I will actually start to believe it!

what kind of recital? There is a page kit at, I think, Michael's. That is ballet themed. They have a whole section with page kits and completed pages. Also look at www.twopeasinabucket.com
click on peanut gallery, click on search gallery,and type in dance recital. They had tons of pages.

I'll try to remember to scan mine in, but my advice is not to take too many pictures during the actual recital; they really won't come out. Take some before in her cute outfit but don't worry about when she is dancing. Enjoy it!

I second not worrying so much about the true recital pictures.. My mom thought she would help me out w/ DD and DS when they took dance.. they came out fuzzy and dark.. The pictures before and after are FABULOUS! Now to get them scrapped...

I agree about not taking pictures DURING the recital... maybe just one, but really, those never turn out nice anyway. PLUS it's really more important to watch the dancing and be "in the moment" at that point since no picture is going to capture it anyway. Take pictures of her in her cute outfit and during one of her classes or rehearsals, but just take pictures with your heart while she is dancing!
