Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone knew how to get a hold of a recipe from Goofy's Kitchen? It was for the bread pudding and sauce (vanilla I think...) and it was out of this world!!!! I think it was Ariel's or Aurora's cinnamon bread pudding but I was so busy gobbling it down that I am not sure of the actual name... :rolleyes1

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Call them and ask.
a lot of Disney Chefs are more than happy to give out most recipes.

Apparently you can also ask at city hall or "somewhere" on main street - sorry it was a while ago I heard about it. and they will give out the recipes.

I know the bread pudding you are talking about. It tastes exactly like the bread pudding they serve at 1900 Park Fare in WDW (at the Grand Floridian) at the Alice and Friends character breakfast. Same vanilla sauce and everything. Maybe its a recipe they use at both DL and WDW? You might post this question over on the WDW Restaurants board here on the dis and see if anyone who has been to 1900 Park Fare has gotten that recipe. I have seen other posts/recipe's from WDW restaurants on thata board. And come to think of it, I know on the restauarants board they have posted the bread pudding from O'Hana at WDW, which is different than the stuff they serve at Goofy's in Disneyland and 1900 Park Fare in WDW but really, really good!

here ya go... :cool1:
1900 Park Fare Bread Pudding

6 eggs
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups milk
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
4 oz butter, softened
1 loaf white bread

Cut bread into 1 inch cubes, place in loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, combine eggs and sugar. Mix well. Add softened butter, cream, salt and cinnamon. Pour custard over bread cubes. Press down so custard soaks in well. Place soft butter on top of bread. Bake in a water bath at 325 degrees for approx. one hour until golden brown and custard is firm. Serve with vanilla sauce.

Vanilla Sauce
3 egg yolks
4 oz sugar
1/2 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
1 cup milk
1 cup heavy cream

In a saucepan, combine milk, cream, and vanilla bean. Bring to boil. In a mixing bowl, combine egg yolks and sugar. Slowly por bolied milk and cream in egg yolk mixture, stirring constantly. Return to heat and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Do not boil. Strain. Chill in an ice bath.

Wow Kat3668, thanks so much! I really do think its the same bread pudding they serve at Goofy's. And when I see that rich recipe I know why it tastes so good!
