Recipe for mulled cider???

Having a cornhole party next weekend and am looking for a mulled cider recipe..... any help would be appreciated

2-3 cinnamon sticks
spice ball filled w/ whole cloves, and whole allspice ( I really never measure)
1 cup brown sugar
1 gallon cider

Bring to boil, and then simmer for 30 minutes. You can keep it warm in a crockpot.


For an extra kick have apple brandy, and captain morgans available to add. (If you are having alcohol at the party)

Made some last night--You can put it back in the gallon jugs once cooled, and then warm it up by the cup in the microwave.

My thought is for an adult party as well... we use to love Tuaca & Apple Cider tailgating at cold games.

What is a "cornhole party" ? Never heard of it, but love a good reason to party! These recipes sound yummy and we're finally having what seems like fall weather here, 68 degrees instead of 110.

You can also keep the cider warm if you have a coffee maker with one of those heated warmers underneath the pot. Do NOT make the cider in the coffemaker. Just put it directly in the pot and keep it warm by turning on the coffee maker and letting the warmer keep it heated.

Here in Buffalo, cornhole is something a lady doesn't say out loud. I found out in other parts of the country, it is a game where you throw the beanbag into the holes of a slanted board and score points.
