Recipe for Mango Papaya Soup

Does anyone have the recipe for the cold mango papaya soup that is served in Parrot Cay on the Wonder? We sailed in May and loved the soup. I can not find the recipe anywhere. I just returned from WDW, and looked in all the cookbooks for sale. I have also looked online, but I can not find it. Please share it with me if you have it. Or, if you will be sailing soon, ask for the recipe! It was sooo good!

I just got off of the wonder on 06-22-08. The cold mango papaya soup was "out of this world" Is there a recipe for it ? I won't be able to sleep until I get it !

Chilled Orange and Mango Soup -DCL
Yield: 2 quarts

Ingredients


2 pounds mango puree

1 cup buttermilk

2 cups orange juice

1/4 cup honey

Salt and allspice to taste.

Method:

Blend mixture until totally smooth. Chill for one hour and serve garnished with fresh mint.

Was this served at the sailaway lunch or on the rotational night? I heard that they took away the mango soup for the sailaway lunch. How disappointing, but at least the chilled soups are still being served.

We absolutely loved that soup too and asked for the recipe .. here it is straight from DCL

Cold Cream of Mango and Papaya

8 Mango
8 papaya
9 scoops vanilla ice cream
100 ml Corn syrup
1 scoop Passion fruit paste/puree

Deseed mango and papaya
Blend all ingredients together to smooth
consistency and chill.
Serve chilled with garnish of mint leaf

We've never made it yet, but it looks like it will make a lot.
But you never can have too much of a good thing right?

We were on that Wonder cruise too and I also thought that soup was OOTW! I think I'll order the puree from amazon tonight so I can make it for next weekend.
