Reception Venue Questions

First of all, does anyone know if you can change your reception location after you sign your LOA?

Secondly, does anyone know what has happened to the upper Pyramid of the Imagination Pavilion in EPCOT (aka the big glass pyramid). Currently my fiancé and I have an agreement for our reception at Hollywood Hideaway (which we saw this past weekend and absolutely love). However, we were walking around EPCOT and reminiscing about the old Journey into the Imagination ride (I'm a HUGE Figment fan) and we looked up and wondered what had happened to the space that used to host the Kodak Gallery in the upper Pyramid. We both thought that it would make an awesome venue for a wedding reception. Anyone know whatever happened to that space? Anyone ever ask about using it for a wedding reception?

Please let me know if you ever get an answer to that question I emailed my planner that very same question about changing the location but of course I got the same out of office response I always get.

I changed my reception location with no problem. In fact, I ditched the reception in favour for a dessert party. There was availability, so it was no issue. We had to sign an addendum to our LOA and fax it back. It might depend on how much time is left until you wedding though.

they actually use that space for events (not weddings though) i have heard... good luck!

I changed my reception venue twice after I had signed my LOA so it's def possible.

Well, the official response from my coordinator is that the second floor of the Imagination Pavilion "was taken out of circulation many years ago.".

Bummer!
