Recent Wishes FP+

Takes up less room that sitting. They can fit more guests into the space.

(More recently, reports are that the CMs don't require EVERYONE to stand, and some
guests sit toward the back (south end) of the spaces and still enjoy a clear view.)

However, we do not know if during busy times like Christmas Week (and others,)
they might issue more FP+ for Wishes, and if so, it might mean that everyone must stand
to fit into the space.

Time will tell (and so will those who are there.)

Thanks! We are going at a slow time.
So,we will towards the back.

We went last night! We sat in the back and had a great view. People stood in the front but everyone in the back was seated. It was well worth a FP+

I am working on our touring plan for May 2016 and am seriously thinking of getting a FP for wishes. Is the FP area the best area to also see Celebrate the Magic projection show? At first I was just going to get a ADR for Naccosses and watch the fireworks from there but I think the kids would really like to see the projection show. Also how soon does Celebrate the Magic start before Wishes? Will the FP area change once the Hub construction is complete?

CtM starts 15 minutes before Wishes, and I assume the Wishes FP area will not move again.

I was able to get a FP+ for Wishes, the check in time is 7:40-7:55pm but I have an ADR at BOG at 6:40pm?
Thoughts? Do I have to make a hard choice between the two. I know the Wishes FP area moved from where it was last time I was there.

You will be able to enter the Wishes FP+ areas any time as early as up to two hours before Wishes, and late as during Wishes.

Thanks! I was really hoping to catch Celebrate the Magic from that area, but that won't happen based on timing I gather. After seeing it last year for the first time it was the entire reason I wanted the FP+ for that direct view of castle
My only hope is maybe the shows move out a little later.

What is the DATE in question?

That might happen. Keep checking.

Otherwise, arrive at BoG about 6:15, or so, and check in and enter as soon as they will let you.

We had a wishes FP+ on 8/26. It was fantastic. We entered the FL side at 9:00, got a great spot at the back corner closest to Main St. We were able to see the whole MSEP through a fairly nice sized opening where the path behind the FP area intersected with Main St. We were able to sit the whole time, would definitely do it again.

ByrdGal, I wondered about doing this since we weren't able to get FP's for the MSEP. Does "FL" mean Frontierland side? Did you sit in the right or left-hand back corner? Sorry, I've never been to Magic Kingdom so trying to visualize!

This is why "FL" is not a very good abbreviation to use in MK.
It could mean Frontierland or Fantasyland.

Is the view better than from the Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace?

Sorry about that, Fantasyland. We were in the back left side, if facing the castle.

Thanks ByrdGal! I'm a Disneyland Gal. so that would be the Tomorrowland side in my mind :) As a complete aside, its going to be so strange to be at a Disney Park and have no idea where I'm going or the little shortcuts I"m used to. All part of the adventure. Thanks again, I think we'll try this on our trip.
