Recent Vow Renewals - help!!!!!

My DD and her DH will celebrate their 10th in October 2007 - she was a Disney bride at the WP with a reception in the California Grill at that time - we were able to book a "package" which is no longer offered that provided for about 30 people (all inclusive, except for extra floral we needed) for about $11,000. She would like to do a vow renewal next year, but told me that everything had changed and that the vow renewal would start at $10,000 - is this true? Can you do an intimate vow renewal with a few more people than a regular intimate? Anyone who's recently had a vow renewal - could you please give me some input here? I was thinking of simply calling DFTW, but of course it's Saturday and no one is there. Thanks in advance - Fran

If your daughter is considering a VR at WDW then she can either plan a custom (minimuns start at $10k M-TH and increase F-SU) or an Intimate (Start at $2500 depending on location). Be sure to check out disneyweddings.com as they list the options available for both intimate and custom ceremonies.

Here is the info for an Intimate ceremony through FTW. As I mentioned above the prices begin at $2500 for the outdoor locations and slightly more of the WP. Although you can add features to the event there are also limitations such as the group size (18 guests max + Bride/Groom), and there is no reception provided. HTH.

Thanks for your reply - I think DD believed that any vow renewal began at $10,000. I told her that I believed you could do an intimate type, but she thought that the intimates were only for weddings. So it looks like she can still do what she was thinking of. Good news!!!!!

there are intimate vr. I believe that the cost is the same for the intimate wedding.

Hi there!

You seem to have gotten some great responses here. Yes, if you do an intimate vow renewal it would start at $2500 and certain customizing and add ons will increase the price but $2500 is a better place to start than $10k.

How exciting for them to be planning a vow renewal. I just had my Disney Wedding in December and am ready for a vow renewal...LOL!!
