Recent JTA sign ups?

Anyone recently do JTA and want to share how RD sign ups went? Did they allow you to sign up before RD (no PPO reservations). Any info shared is appreciated!

In June, my 4 year old and I arrived at DHS around 8:20 (we got dropped off by my dad). Took us to 8:30 to get to the gate. They were already letting people in. I'm not sure if they had just started or what, but by the time we got to the sign up line, it was quite long and it took us until 9:10 to get to the front and get signed up. HTH!
