We've never been to this restaurant. It sounds like fun and the menu has items my DDs and DH would like. So I made an ADR for dinner. Can you tell me how the food is, and what you'd recommend/order on the menu. Thanks!

I had the skillet. Really liked it. It was a lot of food though so go hungry! My kids enjoyed it there. They did the horse race around the room and lot sof fun with ketchup.

The experience depends upon your server.

The food is iffy - more often than not, it is very dry.

Because the food is rarely good and you don't always get to be personally entertained, bear in mind that you may be paying roughly $50 a person for bad food. It is entirely possible that you'll luck out and have good food. If you can live with it either way, go.

You might have a great time!

The food at WC is ok. It can be fun if you are in the mood and enjoy the antics. We have had great servers that were very interactive and we have had some quiet servers also. I would say it is worth a try if you haven't been there before.

is there any way to ensure a "full experience", that is: a good wait staff?

could you tell the hostess your desires and would it actually make a difference or are they just trying to get you seated?

We stay at the WL alot and WCC is not my choice for dinner....either way, I'd order ala carte....the skillet is awful and not worth the money unless you like consuming mass quanities of medicore food....menu options are not bad but on the pricey side to me.....20 bucks for meatloaf....I know it's Disney and all but I can get a juicy burger from the Roaring fork and be alot happier...plus the atmosphere is highly noisy.....but...best milkshakes...endless...what I usually order.....prefer Trails End at FW for dinner....cheaper and a buffet.....just my opinion..

Hi there!
My family visited WCC on our recent trip and I have to say that and 'OHana's were two of our favorite dining experiences. Our waitress was exceptional - bossing around my 14-year old (getting him to help her, fetch things..it was hilarious!) She called me Mom my younger son Skippy and kept bugging him to eat more (which was hilarious to us becase he is the WORLD'S SLOWEST EATER EVER!!!) The ketchup "thing" was awesome and we found the food really good. I had a steak and my DH and DS14 had the skillet which they really enjoyed. DS9 had chicken from the kids' menu which he really enjoyed. But really it is the "antics" that made it fun for us. I think we had the best server in the place personally and she really made it extra fun for us. I think it would depend on what you were looking for or how comfortable you are with the atmosphere that would depend on your experience but for us it was very memorable, entertaining and really great food as well so we were pleased as punch! :)

You can ask anyone for anything...doesn't mean you'll get it.

Sometimes people are thrilled to give you what you want. And sometimes, people are a bit put off by those asking for special favors.

If you won't enjoy your meal unless you are the people in the limelight, you might try another meal. Not everyone in the restaurant can be chosen for the Big Fun.

We had a great time. I think if you start playing around early with your wait-staff they'll play along too. Our waiter was awesome and I actually embarassed the crap out of HIM with an off-color comment I made totally by accident. We had a blast!

We enjoyed it. I will say it seems busier the later you go - we had a 7:35 ADR, were sat closer to 8 and the restaurant was packed when we were leaving. We are just two adults so didn't get many of the antics but the table next to us was a large party with several children and they got it all - big jug of soda, ketchup, etc. My BF loves BBQ and got the skillet. There was no sauce on anything but he said it tasted like a dry rub was on it. I got the Western Chicken pasta dish and hated it, I'd get the skillet next time. We also got milkshakes which were good. We'd go back.

ate there twice a couple of weekends ago...had lunch one day, and breakfast the next. For lunch, we had the nachos appetizer and the pork spring rolls appetizer (both huge apps, and very good) We both had the skillet...again, very good. No dry meats...all were moist and fresh. The beans were OK (nothing special) The corn was OK (very small pieces, but you can get more of course) The corn bread was wonderful. We could not finish the skillet. It's a lot of food. For dessert I ordered the chocolate cake (fantastic) and hubby got the apple pie ala mode (he liked the filling, said there was too much crumble topping and liked the ice cream) We would definitely return this meal. Our waitress was very cheerful, "yeehaw" type talking & wearing a cowboy hat. There were some "antics" going on at other tables...throwing handfuls of straws, 20 bottles of ketchup showed up at one table. The kids did the pony gallop thing. But mostly it was not all that loud or wild in there (we found 'ohana much more distracting.) If you're not into the antics, they're good at seeing that. Both days they did announce a couple of birthdays and had everyone in restaurant sing to the birthday boy.

Next day, we were too tired to go to Boma breakfast, so we cancelled that one and just had breakfast at WCC (we were staying at Wilderness Lodge) ...both of us had the breakfast skillet. Again, WAY too much food, but we enjoyed it. We would eat breakfst there again if we were staying at Wilderness Lodge.
