I had stopped worrying about this for a while, and for the most part I only see comments saying that DCL is very good about allowing the 18+ areas to remain 18+. However, on another forum I've seen some recent talk about that not being the case, and cast members allowing kids to remain in both Cove Cafe and the quiet cove pool, on the Dream specifically. "looking the other way" is the phrase I read.
I'm really looking forward to using these areas on our adults-only cruise. I just really enjoy a little quiet.
I understand that the argument is you cruise DCL, you expect to see kids. I understand that. The flip side is that DCL cheerleaders often counter that DCL is excellent about enforcement of the adult zones.
I'm not going to freak out if kids are walking through the area, and I know why that happens. What I really want to know is if I have a decent chance of being able to relax and get away from it all, both in the cafe and at the cove pool, or if it will essentially just be a family deck overflow area. I'd love honest answers about recent experiences.
