I have read different things about the soda mugs/stickers. If you have just returned from a cruise...could you please tell me how this worked. Do you get a mug AND a sticker??? Can you just get a sticker and get a "fresh" cup each time? How about kids???

We were on the 2/1 Wonder. You could get just a sticker for $20, or the mug for $25. They put the sticker on your KTTW card. You show it at the bars, etc., and you get a fresh cup each time. Very easy. After the first day, they didn't even ask for the card.

Don't know about kids, because we didn't get them for our kids. But it's probably the same cost.

Does it work the same way for beer or do you have to have the mug?

We are soda drinkers at home. We did not get the soda package. There was no way that the three of us were going to drink $105 worth of soda. We each had soda with dinner, and maybe 1 or 2 during the day. We drank lemonade, and drinks of the day. IMO it is NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

A 7 day cruise drink pkg is $35 or roughly $5 per day. If you figure out the cost of the pkg per cost of each soda which is $1.50 per 8-10oz drink, it averages out to be about 3.5 sodas per day or 24 sodas throughout the cruise. If you book your cruise thru AAA Travel everyone in you party gets the drink pkg. included for free. On our last cruise, which was a 3 day, we bought 2 stickers, one for DD and one that my DW and I shared. I guess it just depends on how many sodas you think you might drink.

We got the soda package free last year because we booked through AAA. I definitely would not buy it for our next cruise. On a 3 day cruise I think we actually used it twice. The mugs look big but I would be surprised if you get more than 4 ounces in once the ice is added. I went once and was finished with my diet coke by the time I got back to the cabin. We found it much easier just to go to the deck 9 beverage station and get the self serve lemonade, fruit punch, and iced tea which is what we did for most of the cruise. If you do get the package, I would ask for the soda with no ice and hope that your cabin is closer to the areas where you can get it filled than ours were.
