Recent Crowds?

I was just wondering for anyone who has recently returned or is in the world right now what the crowds are like? Last year this time the crowds were very manageble. Any info will be greatly appreciated!!!

In 2001 and 2002, I went during this week, and it was great. Hardly any crowds. I am going next week this year. Sorry for lack of up-to-date news!

I was at EPCOT Saturday night (May10) and Magic Kingdom on the morning of May 11. The crowds were not too bad, but it was HOT. I think the standby line for GM Test Track was about 30-40 minutes on Saturday night. Le Cellier was packed. They said that they wouldn't be able to seat us until 10-20 minutes past our PS time, but they ended up getting us in right away.

The line for Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain was only 10 minutes on Sunday morning! We left at noon and the crowds seemed to be growing a bit.

Hey! Had very manageable crowds. MK on that Monday was wonderful - walked on everything but Splash. Heat wave was serious...96 one day. I felt crowded at AK and MK on Thursday, but I was also irritable , hot, and tired. The parking lots were NOT full, and we walked on most things at MK. HAVE FUN!!!

we were there from the 2nd through the 10th. Crowds were very light in my opinion. Didn't have to wait more than 15 minutes for any of the rides at any of the parks. For waits that were more than 15 minutes, we used fastpass and moved on. We got there early every day and had done most of the popular rides (multiple times in some cases) by noon, freeing us up to do other things. Crowds did build after noon, but were still not too bad. Second the comments on the heat - my GOD it was hot there - mid to high 90's every day!

I'll 3rd the IT WAS HOT HOT HOT comment! I thought that the crowds were ok. Compared to December it was packed. I don't think we will be returning this time of year again. November and December are much better!

I was there May 5-11. I did the parks on the 5 through 10. I am use to the week after Thanksgivingg so the parks were more crowded than I am use to. The parks were manageable. It was very hot all week, mid 90's and humid. They had Spectro and fireworks at MK on Tues and Sat. Tues evening was a mad house. Sat was better. I am not a big fastpass person. I did use it a a little. I went to Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Railroad. The signs said BTMR was 20 mins and Splash said 5 mins. I got Fastpass for about 30 mins from that time. I went on Splash and took a small break and did BTMR. The heat seem to be the bigger problem for me and seemed to be that way for others.
