Recent character changes?

My understanding is that they make character changes twice a year, once in the spring, and once in the fall. I don't recall reading anything recently with updates.

Were there any fall character changes, especially in the MK?

Is Eric still with Ariel? He was out most of last year, but for some reason when we were there mid-December, he was off the schedule.

I know the answer to this, but feel I must ask........ anyone ever find Bert?

With Fantasmic showing every night in December at 6:30 while we're there, we can't do Characterpalooza, so no chance of finding some rare characters there.

I know that on WDW's facebook they announced Jake will be appearing instead of the Little Einsteins in DHS and at the H&V dine in place of Leo. Other than that I don't know. That was effective yesterday.

There havn't been any major changes for a while. Just little tweaks here and there.

Eric is still with Ariel in Adventureland.

I havn't seen any reports of Bert being out in a while other than parades.

The fall changes would correspond to the new fiscal year, Oct. 2nd, there were no changes this year.

Bert made a one day appearance yesterday at Epcot, so he still pops up. Not very frequently though I'm afraid.

Other than the exchange between Jake and the Einsteins, there have been no other recent changes.

Hello everyone I just read on wdwmagic.com that there will be characters cut at DAK with the new Tusker House Lunch beginning in December: This cut will include Lilo & Stitch, Terk, Jiminy Cricket, and Rafiki Planet Watch Pocahontas. This will be sad since many people want to see Jimminy Cricket and Lilo & Stitch

EEK! You're killing me! I was sad enough already that there won't be any Characterpalooza while we're there...... but to hear that Bert made an appearance?????

At least Mary will be out. Our trip wouldn't be complete without a new photo with Mary. Is she still hanging out by the Carousel?

NOOOOO!!! I can't believe we never made it out to RPW to meet Jiminy and now he's gone. And I'm really glad we caught Pocahontas on our last trip.

Well, here's hoping we at least find Eric this trip. We went to 3 P&P Parties and never knew he was even there. Then last year he disappeared the week we were there. So maybe this time.

It really is disappointing. The loss of unique characters like that, so that they can add characters to lunch that are already available at breakfast. That's a real loss to me.

We had 2 half days planned at AK. That might get cut to 1. I was really looking forward to the character opportunities at AK.

Those DAK changes are disappointing. DD had a wonderful character interaction with Lilo & Stitch last October, and Terk was one of the first characters she met.

I don't think so. IIRC, Pocahontas is only out at MK for hard ticket parties (and I'm not sure even that is accurate any more) and AK has long been the only place to find many of the animal characters like Jiminy Cricket and Terk. I think Lilo is basically a goner too unless you do the character breakfast at Ohana because while Stitch still makes appearances in Tomorrowland he's alone there.

Just read that there are rumors that the UP characters will be an addition to DAK with Angel (Pink alien stitch friend) with Stitch.
Also, the opening show at DAK will be cancelled too in December... do not know when

Abbreviations help here
