Recent 180 day reachers... how has it been?

My husband thought that I was nuts yesterday when I got up at 3 am to make all of our ADRs (he will be thanking me when we are there!) I got all that I wanted except for Fantasmic--MM was gone so we went with the Brown Derby which was not my choice because it using 2 credits--but that was our only glitch :thumbsup2 I have to say that it is much more stressfull than going to Disneyland. There people barely make ressies and you can get into places by calling the day before, etc. The last time that I was at WDW, I was pregnant with ds (7) and I am so looking forward to going back :goodvibes

I did our 180 day ressies last week and the only one I had problems gettin the day I wanted for dinner was T-Rex so I just switched it around and got it for lunch instead.

I made our ADR's last Saturday morning online. I was finished by 6:40AM. It was very quick and easy. 9 ressies for 10 people. No Problemo. :cool1:

My 180 day is coming up next week and this thread is giving me some hope that I'll be first time lucky with ADR's as I just started planning 1 week ago and have had to learn as much as possible in that short time. Good thing I have great co-workers that have been picking up my slack while I research at work on occasion. Congrats to all who got what they wanted.

Made my ADRs this morning and got everything we wanted within the time frames we were looking for with the exception of Garden Grill which we had to take at 7:45pm, but atleast we got in. No problems with CRT, 'OHana, Fantasmic! pkg at MM, or even T-Rex.
Dh ended up going in to work late and dealt with getting the kids ready and off to school. He also phoned in for the Fantasmic! and the T-Rex after getting to work.

I also got everything I wanted.

I had to switch around my Le Cellier and Coral Reef days as I didn't know it at the time, but Oct. 8th hadn't been loaded into the system at 6am EST. I didn't bother trying to switch them back when Oct.8 was added.

I also had to do the Fantasmic DP on a later date-I kind of figured that my 180 day wouldn't have availability. Had no trouble for a date later in my trip.

Sept. 29th I was only able to get 6:25pm for dinner when I wanted closer to 6pm, still not bad as it's my 181 booking date.

We will be there from Sep 25 and got everything we wanted withing 30 min time frame. Some of adrs are LeCellier lunch, Ohana dinner, Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace and Tusker House before the park opening, and even Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose which I wanted dinner but ended up getting lunch..... Which I figure, we will eat lunch before afternoon break and will return to DHS for f! that night. Now only thing I'm waiting is Wishes Dessert Party adr which hasn't opened yet. :surfweb:

180 days for me was yesterday. Got on right at 6am to make my ADR's. Most of them were no problem at all (all within 15 minutes of the times I wanted): 'Ohana dinner, 1900 Park Fare dinner, Tusker House breakfast, Cape May dinner, and Akershus dinner. The only problem I had was with Chef Mickey's. Wanted an early dinner on 9/28 so we could still catch the Electrical Parade at 8pm, but the earliest available was 6:25. Ended up spending all day trying to work out a way to switch things around to see what I could do. Kept changing my mind about what I wanted to do in place of Chef Mickey's that night. When I logged on last night to play with ADR times again to try to figure it all out, there was suddenly a 5:20 at Chef Mickey's, so I grabbed it! Very happy now!!

Has anyone else had issues with the Online ADR system? My 180+10 is today and I cant make any ADR's for anything past my exact 180... I have a valid FW reservation through Disney, but it keeps saying I am not a resort guest! Help?

FWIW, when I called in I was able to make an ADR for 10/1 no problem. Help? :confused3

I made my ADRs on Monday. Here is what I booked - time I wanted - time I got.

CRT -8:05 - 8:20

Tutto - 5:30 - 5:20

Ohana - 5 - 5

50's PT- 12:15 - 12:15

Tusker - 10:30 - 10:20

1900 PF - 11:15 - 11

I got all of my times within 15 of the time I wanted. The only one that I was really nervous about was CRT on the day after we arrive. My DD's 4th birthday. I am very excited!

Went online today for our 9-28 thru 10-7 trip and got everything we wanted within 15 minutes of the original time we wanted! And they were all party of 8 reservations (Garden Grill and CRT we had to do 2, 4 person rezies..but thats ok)!

It originally told me (today) that I needed to have a resie..then it I clicked YES and it let me put in my reservation number and all was good

6 AM online, on Saturday (4/9), we got EVERYTHING we wanted at just about the times we wanted (within 10 to 15 min on a couple, dead on for the others).

That included Cindy's for breakfast for 5 at 8:10 (at the exact same time, my mom, who is coming with us, booked for 2 at 8:05), Princess Breakfast in Norway for 7, Chef Mickeys for 7, and 7 other ADR's at various places.

No problems whatsoever.

I am wondering if its because there are no reports for free dining in October yet why it has been so easy to get ADRs. I went online today 3 days late from 180 mark and I too got everything we wanted including Ohana's and Chef Mickey which are usually the toughest ones of the bunch

I just made my ADRs at 175 days and got everything I wanted, BUT....I was willing to take "off" times. EX: Le Cellier at 4:20 pm EARLY dinner. :thumbsup2

I think that is why it's easier this year. The Free Dining offer ended in December 2010. Unless someone got a PIN (I think they only go to August) for Free Dining.

I wish when they did the bounceback Free Dining they opened the GP Free Dining after the last of the bounceback people's 180 days. It was harder to get good ADR's unless you were up at 6am.

Our 180 day mark was last week - we got everything we wanted at times no more than 10 minutes off from what I'd hoped. Very happy. The only issue was the system was down so it took about 2.5 hours of trying online, calling and eventually online coming back. That part gave me a headache.:headache:
