That's your cheerleaders' pin drawing pin. I put my return address on all of them, just in case, but I should have written Pin Drawing or something on the outside so people would know for sure where it was from. It was done in a big hurry so I could mail them before we headed home from WDW. Sorry for the confusion -- but the pin is definitely yours! Which one did you get?

Good thing I had just read this post when the mailman knocked at the door..I had forgotten I had even sent in my name for the cheerleaders drawing..,but thanks to Cherry, I now have a cool Minnie balloon pin to add to my collection..makes me feel like I was at least there in spirit..THANKS SO MUCH!

And thanks VERY MUCH for the Donald Artist Choice. Just so happens I bought the Jungle Book and Alice pins. Now I guess I need to get the fourth one.

No feeling guilty allowed, Luv2Roam. I think I speak for everyone involved when I say that we all had a great time doing it, and it kept us from feeling so bad about being there having so much fun, while all you guys were at home. There were so many people involved in making it work. Robin did so much of the planning and keeping the names of those who entered straight -- even brought address labels so all we had to do was stick them on the enevelopes. Shirley set a goal the night of the meet of having a pin for each and every one of you, and she kept collecting until that happened! John (the most honest person we could think of) drawing out the pins from the bag to be placed in the LBEs. JudithM helping Robin and I with the packing of the pins, and of course Lauri, Jeff, Matt and Trina for holding the Pin Adventure meet in the first place and giving us a chance to do this. But the credit really goes to all the people who gladly donated such wonderful pins to make this whole thing work. There were many people who donated more than one pin so that no one would be left out. It was a great DIS community effort.

So don't feel guilty at all, just enjoy the pin. Next time you can donate a pin for us!

I got a pin from the drawing today too!
I was so surprised and couldn't figure out where it came from until I checked the board and found the posts about the cheerleaders' drawing. I had forgotten all about it!

The really special thing about receiving the pin, besides the fact that it is a great pin and was such a wonderful surprise, is that today I received the Minnie and Chip & Dale CM balloon pins that I had bought from someone. I loved them, and I was wishing that I had the other ones from the set. Well, then I found this mysterious bubble envelope, opened it, and inside was the Mickey CM balloon pin. Yippee!!! I was so excited - It was like a little Disney magic had reached my mail box today!

Thank you to all who donated the pins for the drawing, and an extra special thank you to the wonderful person who donated my Mickey CM ballon! Your kindness and generosity have brought a lot of smiles and excitement to those of us who missed out on the fun of the pin event. Actually, I think I appreciate this even more than attending the event because it reminds me of why I love this hobby so much. It's not just the pins, although I love my 'little works of art' - it's the great people that you meet in pursuing this hobby (addiction )

I'm sitting here at work reading all these posts and there are two things I want to pass along. One is that my face hurts from smiling so much!!! And the second is, you know that feeling you get when you get your Holy Grail?? Well, I got that feeling, seeing how much everyone loves their pins.

This is pretty much one of the best things that I've been a part of on this board.

In the 8 months or so that i have been posting on this board I have "met" the nicest, most generous and thoughtful people. People who do not hesitate to go out fo theirway to help, donate, trade, meet, do favors for people they know only via the internet. it is truly amazing!! Oh man, now I don't feel so bad. I was racking my brains for two days trying to figure out who I had traded with and what did I forget to send. I went through all my trades trying to figure it out and feeling bad that I might have forgotten a trade. Whew!!

I love my pin, a beautiful California Adventure Passholder pin. It was such a great surprise to receive it in the mail when I had not expected it at all.

Just got back from vacation, and there it was waiting for me in my mail! I got the helping hands pin and LOVE IT!!!
