Received New WDW Planning DVD's Today

We were in Storm-a-long Bay during one day of filming last August and also saw Erin from the DVD in Boma two nights later. She was very sweet. My girls were intrigued by the filming process. Can't wait to see the finished product!

That's great to hear....They are finally on their way - I ordered my around Christmas also but they sent me the old video - I hope they send the current one.

I loved the last one and wish I hadn't loaned it to someone and never got it back. The new one I just got is staying at home. I must admit that the DVD case is much much better than that cardboard holder they use to send.

I'm going to start watching it now.

I've had a change to breifly scan the dvd. It is all new material and the dvd focuses on the theme parks and recreation areas. There is info. on the resorts under an additional features icon. The DVD is hosted by Erin, a perkey burnette. She is much better than the new girl on the WDW resort channel. There are also several other people who are shown going on many of the rides/attractions. The best part of the DVD (IMHO) is the WDW trivia game. There are questions for each area (MK,EC,Studios, AK, Resorts). You can choose between easy questions, hard questions, and questions for children. The CD-ROM is GREAT. Looks like you could spend hours going through it. It has many interactive features regarding the resorts. It has photos of the rooms, pools, and restaurants. Many of the photos and virtual tours of the resorts are similar to what is on the WDW web site. There is also an interactive feature regarding the magic your way tickets. You can add and subtract the different options (park hooper, no expiration, etc.) for prices. I'll be interested to hear others opinions. Definitely an improvment over previous years' videos.

The new CD package arrived today! Got my FIX while watching it with the kiddos this evening...Little did they know, though, that they were getting a FIX, too! (They DO NOT yet know we are going to WDW in May! )

Now, all I need is a postcard!!! COME OOONNNN, codes!!!

I got so frustrated when it didn't come today, because I knew I would have to wait until Monday for another chance of it arriving. Darn that "no mail on Sunday" thing!!!!!

One thing I have noticed though, most of those who have received it live East of the Mississippi. They must be following some kind of regional mailing system to mail them out. Has anyone West of the Mississippi received one yet?

I know mail should be delivered everyday! I hate it too that we don't get ours til 4pm, especially on Saturdays when I'm waiting around for college letters and disney videos !

I ordered mine about a month ago also. I received and email stating it was mailed 1/24/05. where is it . I dont really need it but I love to watch it when making my plans. I also cuddle with my kids and have a magic time.

I always watch it the night prior to leaving on my trip. I give my son some tylenol and we watch the video then off to dream land for us. He woke up last year telling me Mickey was going to meet us at the airport. He saw it in his dreams. LOL No Mickey wasnt there but a stuffed Mickey popped out of one of the bags LOL Thank goodness I packed it.
