Received my new Magic Band 2.0 .... :(

Confused a little because on the Disney site when it gives you the customization options it still shows the old thinner ones.

The graphics have not been updated yet. Resort stays are receiving the 2.0 MagicBands.

We just received new ones and I am not a fan. They are too wide for my wrist, interferes with it bending all the way. I will wearing my MK 45th band this trip. I may invest in one of the magic keepers.

Oh boo. I was hoping I would be the one random exception to still get the 1.0s :( I have really skinny wrists and have to use the kid sizes for the older ones. These are gonna look really bulky on me

I'm glad to hear some positive reviews. I'm the kind of person who NEVER wears a watch, bracelets, Fitbit, etc. I was pleasantly surprised years ago that the original MBs really didn't bother me. I was worried when I saw how BIG these looked! Glad to hear not EVERYONE hates them... ;)

I'm still interested in some other accessory to put the "puck" in, but it still would have to be something easily accessible. If I have to dig into my bag for something, it really eliminates the convenience I've enjoyed in the bands. Though it is far too easy to buy items at F&W... :rolleyes1

Is the only "magic" accessory they offer shaped like a Mickey head? My husband would prefer to hang it from his belt loop, but not in the shape of Mickey.

There will be a plain oval one on a carabiner, but I have not heard that it is available yet (should be soon though).

I think I'll be getting a Minnie keyring for my MB next trip to hang off my bag and also bring along a old MB to wear for when I won't have my bag along too.

Can they still be shortened for a child's wrist? Regardless, I feel like this is going to be huge on my 2 year olds wrist and I'm sure she's going to want to wear it.

WHAT????? Your husband doesn't appreciate the opportunity to deck himself out with all things Mickey while in the parks? Leave him home and I will come with you. That's ok... I can't interest mine in even getting one. Of course, ours are not supplied but I suspect he wouldn't wear one anyway. He's just a card-carrying kind of guy.

I would not wear a Mickey one either. If they were shaped like Vader or a Storm Trooper, we wold be all over that.

Even with the old ones we never wore them. They just got clipped onto our belt loops or around a backpack/purse strap. We also have pin lanyards and would just connect them to those. I'm not about to shell out $10+ dollars for a mickey head thing that can do the same thing as opening the band and just attaching it to something I'm already wearing.
