For those who wanted to know -- I ordered them on MOnday, they arrived today. I had to fax PI my signature on Monday, they were shipped on Tuesday.

why did you have to fax it to them?
does it say anything about using them if you are a US citizen?

In February, we used the FITS vouchers without any problems at all. Do the ones you just received have an expiration date? We are planning another trip for March 2004.

The FITS passes that I recieved a few months ago expire 5/04.

I called Disney to ask if I could upgrade the Fun in the Sun pass to an annual and was told "yes, all Disney passes are able to upgrade to annual passes". I told him about the FITS pass and he had never heard of it but said it didn't matter, they will upgrade. I hope he's right because I am going back with my 11 yr old in Feb. so we need annuals now. Does this matter to anyone else? The rest of my crew are not upgrading since this will be their only trip this year.

what is FITS pass???

is there a website to check it out ?

any restrictions?

10-Day World Pass
The 10-Day World Pass, which is not available at the park gates, roughly equivalent to the Ultimate Hopper Pass, in that it gives you admission to pretty much everything Disney offers -- the four major theme parks, the water parks, DisneyQuest, Pleasure Island and Wide World of Sports -- but with this pass you can use those admissions for any 10 days within a 21-day span. In addition, you get a FREE character breakfast with each pass!

The 10-Day World Pass is intended for sale only in the UK or Ireland. I'm told it is not supposed to be available for sale in North America, but there is an outlet that is selling it to US and Canadian residents (see below).

For those planning a stay of a week or longer, the prices on this pass are a fantastic deal!
Compare the price with a 7-Day Park Hopper Plus pass, which costs $339.74 for adults (10 and older) and $272.64 for children (3-9) at the gate - and gives you fewer admissions and no breakfast!
Compare the price with a 9 night/10 day Ultimate Park Hopper (UPH) pass, which provides the same admissions for $436.65 for adults (10 and older) and $349.32 for children (3-9) and does not include the breakfast. The UPH also does not give you any flexibility -- if you want to take a day off to go to Universal or Sea World, you lose that day. By contrast, the World Pass is good for any 10 days out of 21.
Also compare with the cost of a Premium Annual Pass (PAP), which provides the same admissions (though of course the PAP is good for a full year, instead of 10 days), but does not include the breakfast: $520.79 for adults (10 and older) and $443.04 for children (3-9).
The 10-Day World Passes are not sold at the theme park gates. The passes look exactly like a regular Hopper Pass but have "10-Day World Pass" printed on the reverse. A finger scan is required when you use these passes (the same kind of scan used for Annual Passes) to prevent them from being shared.

US Supplier of 10-Day World Pass

Another source for the 10-Day World Pass is Paramount International Travel, which is located in Florida. Their price is $335 for adults and $275 for children (ages 3-9), plus a minimum shipping fee of $15 per order.

Last I heard, they were still selling this pass to US and Canadian residents, though I've been told the World Pass is not supposed to be sold in North America. This is definitely a "grey market" situation, so buy with caution. I have had numerous reports from Americans who have had no difficulties in using the 10-Day World Pass. They showed US drivers' license or similar ID when activating the pass and there was no problem.

30-Day Fun in the Sun Pass
The Fun in the Sun pass, which is not available at the park gates, is good for unlimited admission for 30 consecutive days to the following:

the four major Walt Disney World theme parks
the Disney water parks
Pleasure Island
DisneyQuest
Disney's Wide World of Sports complex (sporting events requiring a separate admission charge are not included)
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center
Salvador Dali Museum
Edison-Ford Winter Estates
Miami Seaquarium
Everglades Safari Park
The pass also includes one Character Breakfast voucher redeemable at selected Walt Disney World restaurants.

The 30-Day Fun in the Sun pass is intended for sale only in certain countries, including Germany, The Netherlands and Australia. You can purchase the Fun in the Sun pass at major travel agencies in those countries. I'm told it is not supposed to be available for sale in North America, but there is an outlet that is selling it to US and Canadian residents (see below).

This pass is an excellent bargain for those who will be visiting Walt Disney World for longer than a week, since the price is only a little more than the cost of a 7-Day Park Hopper Plus purchased at the theme park gates.

American Supplier of the 30-Day Fun in the Sun Pass

Paramount International Travel, which is located in Florida, is selling the 30-day pass for $310 for adults and $250 for children (ages 3-9), plus a shipping fee of about $15 per order. If you don't find the pass listed on the Paramount International Travel web site, try calling them -- they don't always advertise it.

Last I heard, they were still selling this pass to US and Canadian residents, though I've been told the Fun in the Sun Pass is not supposed to be sold in North America. This is definitely a "grey market" situation, so buy with caution. I do know that Americans have successfully used the 30-Day pass in the past without problems. You receive a voucher that must be exchanged at Guest Services on your arrival. I've heard from several people who showed US drivers' license or similar ID when exchanging vouchers for the passes and there was no problem.

seems weird that the 30 day is cheaper than the 10 day?

Jana- did you each have to be there to exchange the vouchers, or can one person from the party do it for everyone?

We used our Fun In the Sun passes the hole month of June. They were great! We had no problems with them. We went to KSC 2 time and Edison & Ford Winter Home once. The meal vouchers were easy to use. We used 2 at Chef Mickey and 2 at 1900 Park Fair. I am going to buy more as soon as we recover $$$ from the last trip. See you at WDW June 2004!!!!!

I had to fax them my sig the same day I ordered them on the phone. They would not send without the sig and it needs to be done same day. It says nothing about being a u.s. citizen or UK citizen to use them. My expirations is the same as Muffy's 5/04.

As for upgrading to an AP I don't know if this is possible. I thought I read somewhere where it is not, but I'm really not sure. If I were going again I would just get AP's. That is why DH and I are getting the AP's, we will go again alone in October for a long weekend.

I ordered mine on monday and haven't received them yet. Did they come by mail or ups? I hope mine come today.

Funhouse8 - I ordered mine last week too and Rosa told me they would be mailed this week because they were waiting for them to come in. They ran out so they are taking a little longer than usual. I'm sure we'll get them sometime this week:D

Thanks, I just called Rosa and she said they will b mailed out Wednesay and we should get them friday. I see ou are going very soon. I hope they send you yours first.:) Enjoy your trip.

Thanks funhouse....... I'll post and let you know how the FITS passes worked out. We're so excited. Are you going for Christmas?:D

We will be using these tickets around Christmas. I don't have any worries about them at all. We used the 10 day world passes this past Christmas. They worked out great! We had AP's for the first half of our visit and then switched to the 10 day pass for the last half of our visit. Since we only go once a year the FITSP really saves us money over a PAP.

I'm so excited about this trip because I will be there for my 45th birthday which is inbetween christmas and NYE. We will be leaving our house three days after christmas, ( My kids didn't want to miss christmas with the family.) I hope you have a great trip with even greater memories! Gina
