Maggie, I have a question? I always want to join in to these swaps, but I am so afraid someone won't like what I make...I really want to try the toppers, but my question is: Do they have to run completely across the page? Do you understand what I mean? LOL

When I do the toppers for a swap I design them to be 8 inches so that they look good on both 8 1/2 by 11 and 12 by 12. On the 12 by 12 they can be either centered or set at an angle.

Thanks, Chessie! That is what I was thinking too...I think I might join in the next one...are they supposed to be laminated after? I find I am learning so much more from everyone here and I like it!!

Finally got the things for the swap mailed today! I didn't get away before the post office closed all week! Then Friday, we had to evacuate the whole school because some builders broke a gas line right beside the school. If anyone asks---you can evacuate a school of a little over 1,300 people in 20 minutes! The kids did great, but the stress on teachers and administrators was tremendous!

Completed my Easter frames today! Yay! Had a little trouble with duck faces, but I did the best I could. Maggie, I'll get 'em to you on Monday.

I broke a rule....

Nicurn I know you said 8 1/2 X 11 toppers -
After reading Beanies post I came up with an alternative -
I made my headline to fint 8 1/2 X 11 then Matted out and added art to the edges - so they can be used easily on a 12X12 or easily cut down to 8 1/2 X 11 and youll have 2 squares also!
I hope that is OK!
