Received email about closings at CBR - help!!

so in reading this more closely.....is the gift card only eligible at Walt Disney World Resort Food & Beverage and Merchandise locations....is that the same as park food and merchandise locations ? Must be, right ??

I received a call today from Disney in response to the email I sent them Tuesday night. The lady was very helpful. She did not rush me and gave us lots of options. After our 45 minute conversation, we have been moved to Wilderness Lodge!

Sorry, I quoted the wrong message earlier. My question was when your stay will be? And I think that's a great move for $30 more per night!

Disney refers to Disney World as a resort as a whole. So yes, you should be able to use the gift cards at any food or merchandise location throughout property.

I have gone through most of the thread and don't see for sure. I apologize if already asked and answered. With the $75 a night credit I am actually thinking of booking CBR for our May stay. Does anyone know if their will be refillable drink stations available? Assume answer is no they will not be available, but thought I should ask. Thanks.

Actually I read that the plan is to put refillable mug stations up throughout the resort (about 3 or so in the different villages)! This is from Tom Bricker's blog and one of the links, I think it was easyWDW (not sure)?
The only question is when they'd be operational, and what choices they would have.

They are supposed to be the coke freestyle machines. So should be plenty of choices and I would think they would set them up the same time they set up the grab and go markets in each villiage. Which should be before food court closes down.

Pure speculation but since the offer is public and listed right on the main site for the resort I don't see any reason why you couldn't get both. None of the verbiage says restrictions apply or not valid with other discounts.

We are also going on a free dining bounce back and they moved us from standard view room at CBR to POR preferred room at no extra charge & were able to keep our free dining

Damn, and we paid rack rack for standard view at CBR and only got standard view at POR, would've loved preferred!! Of course, we were also told absolutely no way could we get $75 a night to stay either, which is now evidently being advertised on their website, so the whole thing is a little frustrating. Just trying to be happy that we are going back to POR, since it's our favorite anyway.

Just thinking out loud ....
.... we are rarely at our resort
.... we rarely eat at our resort preferring parks or
.... if I stay at CBR I am driving to other places to eat
.... if I stay at CBR I am driving to parks
.... we rarely use the pools, especially at CBR
.... we are usually at hotel only at night
.... for $75 off my rate and we always do discounted rooms
.... I would be staying put and use the money for dining ..... ELSEWHERE

If I could book it now for my next trip and guarantee I will still get the $75 on top, I'd switch to CBR
but no rooms are available for my dates.

We are the same way exactly (concisely and eloquently expressed). I just got the AP rate for the week which averages $145 a night. On top of that is the $75 gift card per night. I can put up with no counter service or shopping to effectively pay $615 for the 7 nights!

dang, i originally (month ago) wanted CBR when our party changed to 5 but nothing was available. I have again tried checking for availability the 10 days we are booked and still nothing available. I was hoping I could find a spot if people are jumping ship. I wonder if they have stopped letting anyone book CBR at all because I tried a series of different dates only to find nothing.

When is your stay? I booked bounce back for Dec 2017. How long is the refurb supposed to take?
