Rec'd Hopper Plus Passes today

I just received my Park Hopper Plus passes from Paramount today. WWWAAAAAHHHOOOO!!!! I am SOOO excited. It's like we really weren't going until I received those passes. It's reality now.

I didn't realize these tickets are the size of a business card. Are they all different, depending on where you get them? You have to excuse me, I haven't been to The World in 9 years. Good thing I got the little holders at Wal-Mart, cause we're going to need them. The passes at TDS are like credit cards. Paramount even made copies of the backs of my passes for me. How nice is that?

My DH can't understand how I could get passes cheaper than Disney without them being fake. Does anyone know so that I can explain it to him? Anyway....18 more days and I will be besides myself. I don't know who's more excited...me or the kids.

It's very simple. There are a lot of places like Paramount that are licensed ticket wholesalers in Florida. These wholesalers buy tickets in bulk under special contracts with Disney and all the other Central Florida attractions. They pay a wholesale price that is much lower than what the public could buy the same ticket for directly from Disney. Even after adding a markup for their profit, the net price is still lower than Disney's prices to the public. The tickets are quite real and definitely legitimate.

I forget how long ago it was that they went to the plastic-type cards... but it does make it much nicer. Especially for a hopper pass. Enjoy yours!

PS What type exactly did you buy & $$.. we always buy AP's and use them for several trips, but other family members are looking for 5 or 6 day hoppers...

They have the best price on a 7 day hopper plus that I am aware of and with the purchase of a 6 or 7 day hopper, you get a free voucher for a breakfast at WDW. You will NOT see the breakfasts being mentioned on their website though. If you have ANY questions, be sure to call them at the toll free number that you see all over their site.

I found that Paramount had the cheapest 5-day hopper plus passes. I got 4 passes....2 adults - $239ea, and 2 children - $190ea. That comes to $858 + $15 shipping = $873 (including the 6.5% FL sales tax). I researched all over....ticketmania.com, Floridaorlandotickets.com, Disney.com, and the Disney store directly.

I would've never found these places if not for these boards. I have gotten such valuable information from all you DISers. I have 18 days to go and I can't wait.

GoldenOldie - thanks for explaining about the tickets. I'll expain when he gets home.

We're staying at Marriott's Cypress Harbour. I can't wait.

Thanks for your thoughts and wishes. I hope the weather is good, too. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

One of my neighbors is there right now. Another neighbor goes from Oct.1-7 and then I leave on the 11th. We will have to compare notes when I finally get back.
