Many years ago I was moving from Virginia back to Ohio. My car broke down on a very lonely stretch of the Penn. turnpike. I decided to try to walk to the nearest exit since it was getting dark. (Before cell phones, etc)
I walked a couple of miles before a dark colored sedan pulled over behind me. A woman, around forty got out of the driver's seat and asked if the car she had past was mine and would I like a ride. I thanked her and she walked over to the passenger door and took a car seat out. She placed it in her trunk to make room for me.
When she returned from the rear of the car she had a doll in her arms. She told me to hop in. I got in the car and instantly felt nervous. Guess it was from all the horror movies I watch, but the lady seemed odd. She had the doll on her lap as she drove.
I tried to make small talk with her, but she told me to be quiet because I might wake her babies. I sat there in silence, happy to see an exit sign a few minutes later. She pulled into the first gas station and I literally jumped out. I looked towards the car to thank her and only then did I notice three more car seats in the back full of baby dolls!
A friend and his wife delivered a stillborn baby at 42 weeks in October. His wife has become a recluse since then and hasn't ventured out of their house much and has also stopped all communication with us. Yesterday I saw on her Facebook page that she ordered one of these dolls and had it made to look exactly like their baby. They had taken about 50 pictures of the baby after she was born. She has now posted about another 50 pictures of this reborn doll wearing all of her baby's clothes and in different positions. She also posted a picture of herself holding the baby and of her husband cradling it. In the pictures they have the biggest smiles on their faces. That doll looks real. I am afraid she has gone over the edge. It is so strange.
Some people juggle geese.![]()
How would one juggle geese? Wouldn't they fly away?![]()
An excellent question (best posed to someone who juggles geese). I would imagine they are immature geese, unable to fly as yet.
I'm so confused.![]()

I have heard of them being used for mentally disabled people. It's one way for them to show and express love to something else. In their case, they don't get the option to have kids of their own.
In that same episode, there were older women who did it too, like grandparent age. Either they had a strong rift between their kids to not see any grandkids or they chose not to have kids at all, is just my guess, and these women are trying to create something that wasn't there to begin with.
