For August 2020 I had an amazing trip planned
my son and I were coming from the US and we were flying his former nanny and her 2 sons in from Budapest.

well, here we are and I'm rebooking for this August!

last time we booked club level rooms, 2 of them thru disney paris, great pricing for 2 or 3 nights. we also are staying in Paris proper for a few nights.

any thoughts on what to do first? paris or disney? and for how long? her boys are now 9 and 12. never been out of Hungary. My son and I are WDW vets and have also been to DLP

suggestions for where to find the least expensive package pricing?

i know if I had to our air and hotel (on points) can be cancelled, the credit I have for their air will be lost, not sure about DLP.

I'm scared to get tpp excited!

I dont know how long the Zen guarantee goes to but DLP packages can be cancelled up to 7 days before for a full refund.

For package pricing, look at different countries on the DLP website. The UK can have different offers than France etc.

You can do DLP first, where you are still full of energy. Or last and have it as the finale.
There are arguments for both scenarios. Just make sure you have a lot of downtime and don't try to do it all. Don't push it through when anyone in the group is tired.

i think we're going to do dlp first so the boys aren't too excited and don't appreciate Paris proper.

that said: i remember there's a number to call, not wdw disney to get transferred to someone actually at dlp. when i try to book thru any site, i can't get the club rooms

also, is there a bus/train from cdg to dlp? they'll be flying in from Budapest a different time than us from the US.

I know it will change but I guess we'll also have to deal with whatever covid protocols there are. they're EU so I'm sure it will be easier than for us

Yes, there is a bus and a train from CDG to DLP, train is more expensive and irregular schedule, but only takes 10 minutes, than the bus.
