Not sure if this has come into play for anyone yet... We have a mid-April 2020 cruise that we are looking to rebook for April 2021, thanks to Disney’s generous rebooking offer that was announced today. We’re currently booked with the 10% OBB discount and $200 OBC, which would reach its expiration date well before April 2021. Does anyone know if Disney is honoring the OBB discount and OBC on these rebookings, even if they push them out of the normal 24 month window? Thanks!

When we were canceled because of hurricane Irma many of us had booked with a placeholder. We all lost the perks. we didn’t get a credit for the cruise price, we all got our money back. When we asked about the placeholders and the OBC we were told no, it wouldn’t be honored. belonging to a FB group no one could carry it to another cruise. So we didn’t nothing wrong and lost our 10% and $200 obc.

Was there a rebook policy in place as there is now?

A hurricane is different from a virus, therefore the approach is different.

yes, sort of. We were offered a 25% future discount which had to be booked within 2 months and the new cruise had to be no later than early December 2018. We were canceled on the fantasy September 2017. we Only could book an existing cruise, which was now higher since it had been released for awhile. We didn’t get an offer to rebook and reapply our $$. This was fairly new territory For dcl, since they rarely cancelled. Two cruises were fully canceled and the other 2 were canceled mid cruise.

BUT you received your refund in cash which most people consider superior to a future cruise credit.
