Reba (tv Show) Cancelled!!!

I've always liked this show, my dd just discovered it (by sitting with me one night) and loves it as well, this from a 20 yr old who doesn't watch TV! She's going to be very upset.

I am curious the production cost of Reba versus Everybody Hates Chris. EHC has already been picked up for next season, yet their ratings are less than Reba's. I would think that the costs would not be that different. I had read that the president of the CW does not like Reba and did not want it back.

How can someone not like Reba? :confused3

That's a good question! I think it is thought that it is not hip enough. Apparently most people aren't hip because Reba does better than most of their other shows.

It seems just from this thread that it definitely attracts people of all ages. My dd15, my dd7 and I watch this show together every night. It's pretty much the only show we can watch together, and they love it! Why do they do that to all the good shows?

That's a real shame as it's a great family show. Guess the network doesn't want families watching their shows. Hopefully if another network was smart(ABC we're calling your name) they'd pick it up. DH and I really like this show as it's humor is great plus our DDs can atch it too. Just the Friday night timeslot was better.

It is one of the few shows my whole family can agree to watch together too. I was sad when they cancelled it the first time, sadder now the second time. Hopefully it will revive somewhere else.

This is the only show that gets my entire family in one room at a time. I had never seen it until syndication. Now, I'm so hooked. It comes on so many times that we joke that that's the only show ever on our tv now, lol.

I heard a small interview with Reba on the radio the other day that she is going to pursue some of ther other loves. She is really into Habitat for Humanity and wants to be more heavily involved. Barbara Jean will be hosting a show on the Comedy Channel. They aren't sure about the rest of the cast yet.
