We have stayed at both OKW and BCV - disclaimer - we own at BCV

DW and I often discuss the OKW vs BCV/BWV thing

BCV is all about location (Epcot and MGM) and access to SAB (best pool on property IMO)

OKW is all about room size (huge!), ambience (laid back, very relaxes), and quick car access

Some of our vacations work at BCV and some work at OKW - it depends on the flavour of vacation we are seeking.

BCV is a piece of a great resort complex and you will not be disappointed. Not sure whether you will like it more or less than OKW. Be sure to go with an open mind and try not to do the comparison shopping mode analysis of BCV vs OKW or vice versa.

They are both great resorts and have lots of "+"'s attached to them

All the hoopla about room size is sometimes just too stupid for words. We are talking about a few days here people, not a lifetime. My kitchen/living room is smaller than the OKW kitchen/lr and i work with it every day. How absurd to be told that you are assured to be disappointed about a new experience.

The sofa bed will be out only when everyone is sleeping. We had 2 adults and 3 children (6,8,10) in a one bedroom the last time and the sofa bed was absolutely no bother and distracted nothing from the use of the entire villa.

The focus of your vacation should be that - your vacation! With your family! Enjoy the resort for it's own unique qualities. You are at Disney and you really can't go wrong. The rooms are lovely and bright, the quiet pool is relaxing, Stormalong Bay is fantastic, you can have wonderful quiet walks around the lake, Beaches N Cream is yummy and the character breakfast is a short walk away. The kids will love taking the boats to Epcot and MGM.

I TOTALLY agree Kathleena!
Come on folks, we are talking about taking a vacation in one of WDW's premiere resorts!!!! Many people in this world have a lot more "real" things to be chicken about then whether the premiere WDW resort they are taking their vacation in has ample floor space!!! I do not mean to be snippy, but maybe we need to look around at the world situation today and then put things in the proper prospective.
