Im spending a few days on Hotel Blvd while we visit some non Disney parks, before checking into a Disney resort. We will be on the DxDDP while at Disney, but paying out of pocket for a few days before. Can anyone recommend a place in Disney Springs for dinner, with a fun atmosphere, that wont break the bank? Would like to keep our dinners under $100 for a party of 3 (2 adults and a 15yo).

TIA.

Raglan Road (good music, dancing, fun, can be loud, but not too loud)
T-Rex (cool atmosphere, really loud)

I think it's always fun to just walk around at DS and share meals from counter service locations if you're into that.
A rack of ribs from Polite Pig, a pizza from Blaze, a burger from Dluxe, something from the Chicken Guy, etc...

In addition to PP's recommendations, places like Rainforest Cafe and Planet Hollywood shouldn't break the bank. If you look at the DS restaurant menus on the WDW website, you will find pricing for all of the menus.

Thank you! Normally strolling and grabbing something that catches my eye is great, but on a Disney Trip (FL in general) I spend so much time walking around/on my feet during the day that at night, I just want to sit and be waited on! Ill check out Raglan Rd. Sounds fun!

Earl of Sandwich, Wine Bar George, WGP quick service, D-Lux Burger, Morimoto Asia as well as it's Street Food QS, Raglan Road.

Raglan Road is great. Boathouse has some sandwich options and it is nice to sit outside and watch the boats. Wolfgang Puck Express is not much for atmosphere but good menu variety and high quality food for a quasi quick service spot. I’ve not been but I hear the food at Splitsville (bowling alley) is surprisingly good - that might be fun. Have a great trip!!

I'll put in a plug for House of Blues - we ate there recently and were surprised by how tasty and inexpensive it was. Their burgers are only ~$15 with fries included. GREAT service, too!

Thank you for this! Just looked at the menu. I think we have a winner! Between here and Raglan Road, it should average out around $100 per night! My husband will be happy. I promised to keep our offsite extra days at $1000 for 3 nights hotel and meals.

We loved House of Blues too! Large portions and really good food. If you booked through Disney, they send you an "Magical Extras" card for 20% off. Pays for the tip!

Another HoB vote here - if you can't get in there, check out Bongo's too. The food was tasty, fresh and the service was great. And they have live music nightly.

Sweet!

I booked the Disney portion of my trip through Disney, but the 3 nights prior to checking into our Disney resort, I booked on my own on Hotel Plaza Blvd (we are going to Discovery Cove/Seaworld/Aquatica) Do you know if I will I get the coupon book before my vacation (would have to be at least 4 days before I check in to Disney resort) and if so, can I use the coupon any day, or only during my resort stay? Thanks

Edit: I just tried making an ADR for HoB and Raglan Rd. Both locations showed no availability for the nights I was wanting to go, in August. Im assuming either they dont do ADRs (but they are on the website to "check availability") or they dont let you make them at 180 :confused3

Did you try making the reservations at opentable.com ?

Most Disney Springs restaurants work with the site although I don't know how far in advance you can book.

ETA: OK I just picked a random date in August and this is what it said for HoB:

"Unfortunately, House of Blues Restaurant & Bar - Orlando doesn’t take online reservations that far in advance. Have another time in mind?"

Thank you very much!! After seeing your reply, I just went in again and tried for tomorrow night. There was availability. I then checked next week, next month and April. Seems like 30 days out is as far as they go. I made myself a calendar reminder to check in July.

You can also do the touring plans reservation finder and likely land one or both of them that way too.

Also true :).
I utilized all systems to get reservations for our last trip. Used Touring Plans to hunt for the elusive but secured CG Sunday brunch, FF and Citerico's directly from Disney's site, and all ressies for Disney Springs made at open table. In all honesty altogether only made about 6 advance reservations for the 16 night trip but was so easy and fast. Also freeing to eat where we wanted to without the rigidity that ADRs can impose but that's a different topic.

If you don't have a hibachi restaurant near you, Benihana at Hilton is another option.

House of Blues is a great recommendation. We've never had a disappointing meal there.

Thanks! No we dont have hibachi near me! Though since we dont, we have booked an ADR at Teppan Edo the 2nd night we are at Disney! Tried it a couple years ago and LOVED it! Maybe twice on this trip would be good since we have to wait about 2 more years until we get it again! Thank you for letting me know.
