Review reasonable place to stay in pinellas area

All of the vacation rentals I've looked at in the pinellas are are about 2000 a month. I am staying for 3 weeks in August and I need something more reasonable/doesn't have to be extravagant, but SAFE.. for 5/6 people.. anyone have suggestions?
