Has anyone been able to book the REAS package for a cruise after 12/31/04? I would love to do this, since we'll be celebrating our 10th anniversary in March 2005. The only info I can find says it's only offered until 12/31/04.

Is it worth the additional cost? For what they offer, it seems reasonable.

you cannot book REAS for 2005 - they think they'll have it available for 2005 cruises by Oct or Nov of 2004.

At the $299 price it's definitely worth it - I don't know what the 2005 pricing will be, so it's hard to guess if it's still "worth" it then.

I know what REAS stands for, but what exactly is included? I thought about getting it for our Sept cruise (we celebrated our 10th anniversary in December, but were unable to take a trip then), but also wondered if it was worth the price. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Our REAS package included a gift basket with photo album and chamgpaign in a silver colored basket, couples spa treatment, advance dinner ressies at Palo (Debbie made our brunch ressies, too for the 7 night cruise), romantic turn-down the night of Palo dinner, champaign breakfast in your stateroom, and getting to pick our preferred dining rotation. It was worth every penny we paid. The spa treatments and Palo's alone are around $240.

What exactly does that mean? Sorry, for all of the questions....

the romantic turn down includes rose petals from your door to the bed, rose petals on the bed in a towel shaped like a heart....

unless you get the room host someone got where the rose petals were left in the plastic bag and tossed on the bed by a rather sad looking towel "snake"

Do you think I could book the cruise now and add on the REAS when/if they continue the package at a later date? Thanks!

Yes you may add the REAS package anytime after you book your cruise (once pricing is released). if you used a Travel Agent they should be able to add it for you. If DCL holds your reservation call them directly. I called my TA Allseasons a few months back to add this (Oct 04 cruise)...it took all of 5 minutes.

absolutely - you can book your cruise now, and add on any of the packages offered later.

how long is the massage and is this okay if we are cruising with our DD (11) and DS ()???

just a follow-up. If we do REAS, do we still need to pay in Palo...
I think the charge is $10 each.

We just got back on our cruise and we had the REAS package. It was worth every penny. The massage was awsome and the food at Palos was
excellent. Here is a pic of our romantic turn down service and special dessert our server suprised us with at Palos.

Yes. When you do the breakfast in bed, you can order enough food for everyone in the room, no problem. As for Palo and the romantic turn down, have the kids in the Oceaneers Club/Lab, and don't pick them up until AFTER you return to the room.

The $10 Palo fee is included in the REAS package (for the Palo dinner only).

Is there a special menu for the breakfast in bed, or is it just normal roomservice menu ?

yes, there is a separate champagne breakfast in bed menu that should be in your room. if it's not there call guest servcies or in-room dining and they'll send one up.
The champagne breakfast in bed menu includes hot foods, like eggs, omlettes, pancakes, bacon, toast, etc, as well as cereals, muffins, danish, bagels, english muffins, all kinds of juices, etc.

I enjoy alcholic drinks but DH and I do not like champaige Sorry spelling - can you get sparkling grape juice or something? then all four of us can enjoy this breakfast

First time for DCL in Nov 2004. My DH and I are going to be celebrating our 15th anniversary. What does REAS stand for and how do I find out about this package? Sounds like something I would like to do. Thanks!
